Baseball App Intelligence ("the App") is operated by Todd Bernson. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App on the web or on mobile devices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the identity provider. We do not receive or store your password.

Usage data. We record your answers to scenarios, progress history, and aggregate statistics (e.g., accuracy, streaks) to power the App's features.

Technical data. Standard web/server logs may include your IP address, browser type, and device information. These are used solely for security and operational purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your session.
• Track your progress, stats, and leaderboard ranking.
• Improve and maintain the App.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure secured with encryption at rest and in transit. We follow security best practices including least-privilege access controls and no long-lived credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Amazon Cognito — authentication and identity management.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — federated identity providers.
• Amazon DynamoDB — data storage.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers. We do not serve ads.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent by discontinuing use and requesting account deletion.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
